Add a little more CR to your campaigns

We only really run homebrew campaigns, but it is really nice to add stuff that we've seen used and thought was cool into our campaigns either as players or DMs. I also really like having the option to have the PDF since I can bring it with me when we aren't playing dnd at home.

    A wonderful peek into CR

Absolutely love the illustrations, subclasses, additional rules, and lord included here. You can feel how much love Matt has for his world. A must-have.

What a great campaign setting! It’s easy to see why it won an award, this book is captivating. You get a ton of backstory about various places, peoples and lore, and you’re also free to make up your own. I also love how the tone of Critical Role — that easy, lighthearted banter suddenly turning to serious life-or-death moments — shines through at times.

Also, those illustrations. My god, those illustrations. I’m considering buying the paper book just to look at them through non-pixels. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

    Welcome...to Critical Role!

The interactive PDF is fantastic. Overall, the book is a well-constructed and organized introduction to Exandria and Tal'dorei in particular. There are so many possible adventure seeds within its pages that anyone--whether familiar with the show or not--can set a wonderful campaign in this setting.
