I bought the XL/2XL, I wear a L on standard shirts. This was roomy and may even be too big. It fits just fine but is not fitted. The material is comfortable and not too warm (in a good way). The only complaint I have is the tag on the inside. I tend to go shirtless when in a robe and the tag was unbearably scratchy. After removing it very carefully, I now enjoy lounging without any discomfort.
Second one ordered. I decided to get a back up before these sell out. The robe is that comfy and that well made. Cannot just that in a robe just anywhere.

The bathrobe is amazing. It's one of the most comfortable things I have ever worn. It keeps me nice and warm on cold mornings but doesn't seem to be oppressive in "normal" temperatures.
