Vox Machina Collection: Vex'ahlia Sweater Dress

My husband got me this for Christmas and I couldn't be happier. I wear 3XL and was worried it would draw attention to my belly, but it doesn't! It fits so well and is so soft! I do recommend wearing a tank top or something underneath as my bra clips have gotten caught.

I love the dress so much, the colour is amazing and the design is complementary to the wearer and also true to Vex! I get lots of compliments from my co-workers who know nothing of CR.

The minus side is that the dress got super pilled after just one use which was disappointing.

Super comfy and cozy - the sweater has a great weight to it and is incredibly soft. It did pill up quite a bit after my first wear, but nothing a little trimming can't fix! I wore it for a casual Vex cosplay and it worked great :)

It's comfy and cozy but more meant as a snuggie/blanket instead of a dress. Size Small is more of an XL, it's very very VERY baggy and not really meant to go out in public in. I added some ties on the back to help with the fit.

I am torn.
On the one hand, the design is cute, the details on the arms are lovely, it fits very well in my usual size, and it is super comfortable. I feel extremely cosy wearing it.
On the other hand ... we need to talk about the fabric.
It is polyester, so I had moderate expectations in terms of durability.
But I did not expect the dress to get damaged simply by wearing my purse across my shoulder on day one :(
In short, I'll enjoy it wearing this dress, but I am sad that the fabric is not sturdier.

This has immediately become one of my favorite items of clothing. It's so soft and so cute with the shoulder details and ties on the sleeves. I want to wear it all the time.

Sizes run large.

I usually get M or L, depending, as a short female. I got medium.
I prefer clothes to be on the looser end and not hug my frame.

That being said, I think a Small would have been the best size fore me which I will remember going forward. I think I could even wear and XS in the case of this item since it has a great, yet non constricting, stretch and give to it

Trying on the tan cardigan from Mighty Nein collection (these 2 items have the same-ish feel of material), items made from these materials are going to have a LOT of give, and they won't feel constricting.

As a tall guy who definitely doesn't have the legs for dresses, I bought this to see how it would work as a long sweater. It's great. Comfortable, warm, and beautiful. I highly recommend it, regardless of gender.

Super soft, perfect length, perfectly sized pockets that hold so many trinkets (see what I did there 😉), and keeps you the perfect temperature! I wore this today for the first time on a field trip for my 5 year old and even while chasing kids around for 3 hours I wasn’t too hot or cold! I held my iPhone, car keys, snacks, and papers in both pockets without anything falling out or feeling like it was pulling the dress down! 1000/10 ✨

It runs larger than I expected, but other than that, it's so warm and cozy! It will definitely be a staple in my closet for cold days when I want to snuggle up inside.

This might just be one of the most well-made things I've ever bought. It's stretchy and durable and so warm! The attention to detail is beautiful and so worth the price. I'll definitely be shopping here again lol

It looks great! The neck is soooo itchy though - I had to wear another turtleneck under it. Could just be that I, personally, have a sensitivity to it. Sizing was okay. Chest fit great for a size L, but the hips/waist area was just baggy and not fitted. Material is stretchy, so I probably should have tried a M size.

I love it, though I'm tempted to change out the sleeve lacing. I was on the line between sizes, I'm glad I chose the larger size from the size chart - it's very cozy.

The fabric is very soft and cozy. It is also warmer than I thought it was going to be. Not a bad thing. It was a very nice surprise. I just have to be careful what earrings I wear with it. The collar likes to push my earrings out if I forget to put backs on them.

It's really big. I should've sized down. But other than the size, it's a great sweater.

Got the Vex Sweater dress for my wife for christmas and it is sooooooo soft.
Perfect for cold days, with or without leggings.
Only complaint we have is that the turtle neck can be quite itchy.

Got it as a gift for my friend for Christmas. She loved it. I might even have been able to go down a size and potentially been fine, but we went with the medium and it fit amazing.

This is a quality dress and superb middle ground for a starter cosplay. My wife loved it and it fit her very well.

I love it. It’s a perfect design

I have gotten a ton of compliments on this sweater dress. The colour is beautiful and it is so comfy to wear. I am 1m69 and got a size XXL and it hits me right above the knee which i think is a good length.

I bought an M as a 5’3” 190 lbs, and feel like I could have sized down. Quality is superb, and it’s super warm !
