More than expected

My first thoughts after reading through the book, it's everything that I wanted as far as a system goes. Enough base for a quick jump in, but also the ability to import a game world that I have had in my head for years. Now, it's just getting my players to the table and getting them just as hook on Daggerheart as I am becoming.

It's good, but has room for improvement

Don't get me wrong, absolute Daggerheart fan here, but demiplane needs simple improvements that are staring it right in the face. And honestly, it probably deserves 4-stars instead of 3, but that wouldn't get your attention.
For starters, what is the UI made for - its clunky on every device - text windows give barely enough without expanding the window with 'show more' then it stays expanded when you go to the next step, making the user scroll all the way down on long sections to minimize it again. Weapon selection is alphabetical, which helps no one - primary weapons are mingled with secondary, and there is no quick way to identify what trait the weapon uses without selecting it. Then, there is no consistency on if you scroll down for more options or find multiple pages that need to be toggled between - if scrolling is an option, why also have multiple pages - implement filters in the selection menus? So let's say you get through character creation, which isn't difficult or anything, but then you have to realize that nothing is equipped on your character, and this can cause unaware users to not see their armor score and thresholds are not accurate and dont include the choices they *just made* during creation. On the digital character sheet they layout is not ideal, scrolling to see features. Finally, when you export the character sheet to PDF the form fields have mixed auto text sizing and static text sizes, and you can get big lettering where it doesn't aesthetically look correct.
Is this nit-picking... absolutely. But i didn't even get into using Nexus to look through domain cards - again they're alphabetical! It makes no sense, they should instead be defaulted to domain, by level, anything else than alphabetical.
Demiplane was the first, and they are still probably overall the best, but just because they started with one format doesn't make it the best option - improvise, adapt, and overcome Demiplane.
