I needed a lightweight rain jacket/windbreaker (I live in Atlanta), and loved the look of this, so I ordered myself a Large. (I usually fall in the medium-large range for clothes.)
As others have mentioned, it runs short in length, but I'm much more satisfied with that than I thought I would be. It hasn't been a problem. It's also a pullover (I'm used to zip-up jackets), but that also hasn't been a problem for me.
I absolutely adore the look of it, and nobody familiar with it would ever guess it was themed after a popular D&D show. But fellow Critters might recognize it, and that's always a plus.
It's fairly thin, which is exactly what I was looking for, so I can wear it during summer rains. If it's colder, I can always add a layer or two underneath.
The short length of it has an unexpected bonus -- the pockets sit relatively high compared to most jackets, and it's in a much more comfortable position for me if I rest my hands in there (which I tend to do). The hand pockets are relatively shallow, which might be a problem if it weren't for the great pouch in front. So I can put anything in carrying in the pouch, and it'll be much safer than most pockets anyway. The pockets are only for my hands, which works great for me.
Everything considered, I love this windbreaker even more than I expected. One of the best jackets I've ever owned!
