CLUE®: Critical Role

I love it, I will have to get used to the rule additions it has been decades since I played Clue but It will be great fun.

Customer Support reached out to me after my last review and sent me a replacement copy with all the pieces!!! They were super nice and super helpful now I can't wait to give this game a try!

The game is great, but the pieces didn't really want to fit well in the bases and some of them got damaged putting it together

So when my box arrived from UPS there were big chunks ripped in the outer box especially in one corner. Looked like a dog chewed on it. As there was no packing material or bubble wrap inside the box with the game the game box did come with a puncture and a dent that I was not happy about as this was a gift. This is the second time I have ordered something from the critical roll store and felt like there was a problem in how it was shipped. But that was last year I believe and around Christmas time as well and it was fixed. Because of the puncture in the game box I did open it up to make sure the game board was okay. Which it was. Other than that the game has a nice simple look. Good art, metal markers, and I am excited to do a play through on Christmas. There’s not a lot in the big box. Could have gotten away with a slightly smaller box I think.

Purchased as a gift for my wife, she was super stoked and got to the setting up right away.
Pros:
The game board is beautiful.
The additional rules seem are cool and we're excited to play.
We loved all the references/items/places from the campaign.

Cons:
Unfortunately, the 'hero movers' are not well executed.
The cardboard Fjord ripped a bit as it was being popped out of the packing.
All of the stands that the cardboard is supposed to slot into are too tight for the cardboard, we had to wedge them open a bit to get them together. Even with that, some amount of damage will occur when you put the pieces together or take them apart.
I was surprised that there wasn't a mini used instead of the cardboard mover, it seems like the obvious solution as they're D&D characters, and for the price I kind of expected something along those lines. I'm not saying they would need to be high quality, just something more than the cardboard standee.

All in all, we're happy with it, but it could have been done better for sure.
