Created with our friends at Dark Horse Comics, Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins Volume 3 brings you a beautifully illustrated tale from the campaign of Vox Machina prior to the show, involving misadventures during the Winter’s Crest Festival!
This limited edition hardcover is exclusive to the Critical Role online shops and features the same thrilling 152 pages of story-content as the trade paperback, along with extras including a sketchbook section featuring characters and cover art! This edition features a rich blue faux leather book and slipcase with an intricate Vox Machina monogram design, burnished and stamped with holographic foil. The slipcase houses the book itself as well as a cloth portfolio containing a commemorative lithograph print by Alex Monik.
In this volume, Vox Machina enjoys a week in Westruun’s lap of luxury leading up to the Winter’s Crest Festival. But that costs coin, which has a bad habit of running out, so they join an underground fighting ring and bash their way to cash. Unfortunately, their ring-fighting turns out to be just a warm-up for a cold reality when a mysterious attack on Winter’s Crest festivities leaves the whole town magically frozen—including one of their own. Vox Machina will have to save the day again, against a much bigger foe than they first realized!

This limited edition hardcover features beautiful artwork, high-quality materials, and premium packaging. Customers praised "gorgeous artwork," "beautiful collector's item," and excellent binding. Most found it "worth every penny" with quick, secure delivery. However, two customers felt the book was too thin for the $100+ price point.
The comic book, the art print and the case all look absolutely stunning. The quality lf comic book is amazing as always and both art print and case present nicely on the shelf.
My order did arrive with the case dented during transit so that's not great but oh well
The craftsmanship one the hard covers is amazing. Like they held nothing back and made the outside just as incredible as all the art within.

This and a few other books were a Christmas gift for my father and not only do they look and feel incredible, the included artwork is so beautiful and have such nice holders for them. My dad was incredibly excited and happy to see them and that is all the assurance I need. Once more, the delivery was quick and secure & I am so glad they all came in before Christmas. First time ordering off the Critical Role website and I love the book and how great it looks, wish I bought Vol 1 & 2 as well. However the shipping package and address that comes with it also made me smile and I had to show all my fellow IRL critters

Five stars all the way around. I started with Critical Role by rewatching Campaign 1 while Campaign 2 was still airing, so I feel such a connection to Vox Machina. I saw the limited edition and ordered immediately in a shopping frenzy . . . Only to realize when it arrived that it was Vol. III and I hadn't read Vol. I or Vol. II, lol
I'm looking into getting the first two so I can read in the correct order. Other than my little faux pas, I absolutely love yhe craftsmanship and art.

I have looked it over and it is perfect love the hard cover and having the origins is even better.
I love it. I'm going to order a couple more to gift to friends and maybe 1 more for me to keep unopened :) its a collectable after all. If you want to read it just buy paperback or digital this is way too well done to thumb through and read.
