Mark Mercer made a really good game. Daggerheart is exactly what I've been looking for: crunchy when it needs to be, but with mechanics that are fast, flexible, and dynamic! Goodbye initiative, let's make some moves!

The core set is well done, with a organization presentation all in one book and box with sleeve to keep everything together... the game itself haven't played but watch the CR team play it via YouTube... the game it looks good the book is color coded in sections, making it easier to find what to need fast the a it of the cards are fantastic, currently reading it to get a more understanding to play it in my group, so far as reading it, I can understand the mechanics of the game. Only thing missing is would say is a GM screen for quick reference, tho the book provides.

Kiri is my girl, and honestly the only thing that coul've made this plushie better is if they would've added Matt/Kiri saying 'Go f *** Yourself!', it was so iconic! Kiri is about to get the snuggles she deserves!

Delivery arrived quickly, the shirts (1Medium, 1 Small) arrived well packaged, they are beautiful and I am so happy I splurged on them, I've been thinking about it for months. knowing this is inspired by Molly's Coat makes me smile. Attached a photo of the medium shirt with Kiri admitting that she's very sweet :)

The book, the cards, the packaging, it all feels very high quality. I'm super pleased with it and excited to start playing. When I ordered this product, I must have rolled with Hope (heh).

After showing it to the group and going over what little I knew they were all in, and we ended up spending the night making characters!
We loved the interpersonal questions and creating our beginnings as a team.
We've heard rumors about player card packs instead of characters sheets... Pretty excited to learn how that turns out.

The book has gorgeous art and the rules and guidelines are easy to follow.

I think Daggerheart does a good job of balancing mechanics and narrative such that there is enough narrative flexibility for storytelling, but enough mechanics to feel like obstacles have meaning and that we're not just playing Fancy Pretend.
If I have any gripe, it is the box that holds the cards. I like the use of cards in Daggerheart, and the fact that cards can be stored on a bookshelf with the rulebook. The two biggest problems are 1) the card wells are fewer than the number of different card decks, and 2) the cards do not stay in the wells when stored vertically.

My wife and two cats have had no complaints about the hat. It fits snuggly like I prefer. I do wish the text on the back were embroidered in a more readable typeface.

While I gained no special feats or traits when wearing the hat, I suspect I just haven’t discovered the magic yet.
